“The finest of pleasures are always the unexpected ones” — as mentioned by Tsukiko is so apt for this book. I tend to find the overhyped books quite boring and thus was putting this book on hold for some time. But what a marvellous book it is.
This book took me to its magical journey. It is so well narrated that at times I could see the circus. It made me want to learn reading tarot cards even 🤪.
As if all the characters, the plot, the story “was in the right place at the right time, and they care enough to do what needs to be done; here that’s enough “ rather more than enough.
Magic, mystery, adventure, love how can everything goes this well with each other. The lavish dinners, that strange yet interesting circus every thing was narrated with such minute detail that this book had transported me to its pages, inside its own realm; probably that’s what I loved the most.
