I’m in two minds about this book.
King’s prose is generally dull, repetitive and at times lacks clarity. His characters lack depth. The tone is inconsistent. The book does nothing to justify its huge length.
At the same time I’m thoroughly intrigued by what’s going on and I’m excited to start the next novel.
