Ball and Hammer: Hugo Ball's Tenderenda the Fantast by Jonathan Hammer, Jeffrey T. Schnapp, Hugo Ball

3.0

Ball’s writing is brilliant and hugely funny and suitably weird; it’s just the rest of it that’s a bit poor. The introduction is the worst kind of academic babble and the translator/ artist’s work and essay really add nothing to it of worth. The art is fine but just feels weird sat next to the text, the final essay not quite as egregious as the first but still pretty weary and unengaging
