Overall good short stories. Paolini has clearly improved vastly as a writer, but there were still a few foibles that had me rolling my eyes.
While it was interesting in a nostalgic way to revisit Alagaesia, it hasn't exactly inspired me to revisit the earlier books. Perhaps the newest entrant to the series will rekindle my love and the rose tint will carry me in its grip all the qay back to Eragon (or perhaps if this rumoured TV show is any good).
