To Night Owl from Dogfish by Holly Goldberg Sloan, Meg Wolitzer

5.0

Avery Bloom and Bett Devlin, have few things in common. They're both twelve years old and are both being raised by single day dads there's no reason for these two girls to know each other. But when their dads fall in love, and decide to send them to the same camp they are forced into the same circle. They start communicating trying to figure out what's going on with their dads, but somewhere along the way they become friends. Told in emails and letters this book is a charming exploration of family and friends.

This book was wonderful. The way its written as letters/emails was just wonderful and fun. I loved both girls so much and the rest of their wild family. This is a great recommendation for a reader who loves realistic fiction, or just enjoys a heart warming story.
