Well Jenn nailed it again in book two!!! Let me start by saying that I am a sucker for dual POVs. So when book one had POVs of both Peyton and Thomas I was already like YASSS 🙌🏼
Book 2 came in hot just like book 1 🥵 This time POVs of Avery and Marc. From beginning to end I was hooked! I was so committed to their story I just had to see it thru. From pretty much fake friends (just because of Peyton), to fake dating, to fake fiancé. Boss + employee = work romance. Also let’s not forget billionaire romance 🥰 💸 The tropes in this book are just to die for 🥰💕🫶🏼
I bought this entire series on a whim! Totally blind with no idea what they were about. I’m so glad I did! 💕 Book 2 was just as spicy as book 1. What I love the most so far about this series is that the spice does not take away from the characters or the plot. There is still a strong plot and character building.
Quick Summary: Book 1 started with Thomas Ford and his growing romance with Peyton. In book 1 Thomas sets the stage for his family introducing his brothers Marc & Oliver, along with his sister Emiline.
Book 2 kicks off with Marc’s POV and then Avery’s. Avery just so happens to be Peyton’s best friend and also Marc’s assistant. Marc hired Avery in book 1 before knowing she was Peyton’s best friend. We get a glimpse of Marc and Avery’s relationship in book 1. However we didn’t see what was to come. Does their plan work? Do they fall for each other? Does one of them end up heart broken?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Marc has always been on the search to find a wife. Avery has never even had a serious boyfriend. Can they make it work?!
I thought this was such a great read! I highly recommend this one! I cannot wait to start book 3! I’m beyond invested! 💕
