Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman
3.0
3.5 stars
The writing and atmosphere was exquisite as well as the pacing. I loved the layer of longing, reflection, and nostalgia.
While I definitely enjoyed this read, it was a bit too smutty/explicit for my own reading preferences, but the writing surrounding all aspects of love warranted it nonetheless.
I would have enjoyed more dialogue/conversations featured between Elio and Oliver to enhance the chemistry than just the physical aspect, which took up the majority of their encounters.
I don’t intend to read the sequel, “Find Me”.
Note to self: I read this book solely via audiobook
