Paper Gurls is a trip! It starts off chill AF but once it gets going, it's non-stop madness. I saw a review that said it was Stranger Things before Stranger Things, and in certain ways it is, and in other ways, it is so much better.

I really enjoyed the art style and I loved the girls and their dynamic. It's so refreshing to have an all female cast. And they're all interesting and feel like real girls!

I do have to say, trying to keep up with Paper Girls was a struggle, especially in the second half when everything starts unravelling and you never quite understand exactly what is going on for a lot of it. Could I even explain what exactly happens and how it wraps up? Uh... no.. not really. Not well, anyway. lol. I do wish the friendships got to develop more and the ending was more fleshed out. It's all pure chaos, but a fun ride.
