It was just an okay read to me. I liked most of the characters and thought they were (mostly) well developed. Some made me roll my eyes at their stupidity but no spoilers here. I didn't know it was a series and this is the first book I've read of it but I won't be continuing. I didn't like the way Sophie repeatedly treated her boyfriend and her stupidity/stubbornness. I also don't like when authors put their political biases repeatedly into fiction.
