I was checking when this book was written multiple times as this was eerily close to COVID period. It started of great. It was very haunting and beautiful. But that’s just one chapter. It just got worse and worse with everyone awakening their magic and half way through the book I didn’t know how was the main characters and where the story was going. It went insanely cliched. I didn’t appreciate it. I was as it is uncomfortable with all the Covid similarities, even the book has nothing to do with it. But it was just not interesting enough.

It wasn’t interesting. Period.
