Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire

1.0

Well, seeing as I was in the minority and highly disappointed with [b:Beautiful Disaster|11505797|Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1)|Jamie McGuire|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1358259032s/11505797.jpg|16441531], I wasn't expecting much from the sequel. BUT I did find myself hoping that seeing the events play out from Travis' perspective would be slightly more bearable than being in Abby's head was because he was more honest and up-front about what he wanted. But alas, I was simply disappointed again.

I think I got through the first chapter before I started skimming to the more interesting parts--why he calls her Pigeon (which wasn't that mind-blowing), the Vegas trip, the subsequent break-up (I love the break-up scenes. It's kinda embarrassing...), and the Thanksgiving trip--but none held my interest. I am very reluctant to read anything by Jamie McGuire again. We just don't have a good author-reader relationship.
