I will 100% not be able to fully express how this book made me feel, not yet. I need some time to process the masterpiece I just read. I remember when I first started reading the book, and I was so confused. I decided to stick with it though because I was determined to be apart of buzz. Most succinctly put, this book is a puzzle. Like a puzzle, it reveals itself to you as you continue to finish it. In the beginning, I felt confused and my understanding of the book, incomplete. But as I kept reading, I accumulated more pieces of the puzzle, and it finally revealed itself to me. I have never read a book that has done that before. No other fantasy book that I've ever read has made me feel this way. A part of the reason why I don't read a lot of fantasy is because sometimes it can be a bit of an information dump at the beginning of any book that I read. The Fifth Season was so wonderfully paced, where the information was gradually introduced. More to come but those are my initial thoughts!
