I listened to this book on my audible subscription before it expired.

Brief Synopsis: Catalina's older sister is getting married. Catalina assumes that the marriage is a political match between her powerful family and the Paz family, but she has returned home to show her sister love and support. However, it soon becomes clear that things are not as they should be. As Catalina and her childhood nemesis (and soon-to-be brother-in-law) attempt to figure out why things seem off with their family sparks begin to fly.

Thoughts:
Daria gave me everything I wanted out of a witchy rom-com. Love, drama, the use of witch powers. My only real complaint about this book is that it wasn't longer. Catalina was a funny and dynamic character. The way that Daria made Catalina's struggles central to the love story made it more endearing and helped her connection with Diego feel more authentic.

Also, the way that Daria can write humour into a tense scene to diffuse tension is fantastic. I was rooting for Diego and Catalina from the start and every part of the story was endearing and enjoyable. Plus the ending! I would highly recommend this book if you love enemies to lovers and/or witchy romances.
