Really good memoir. A childhood so far from my own it was really eye opening. It kind of ended awkwardly, I thought, by going into her adult moving on from Africa, but so briefly, as well as dropping in a detail about her mom that begged more content but then it was just over. That said, I still thought overall it was great.
