Another good one but not as great as the last two. This review might contain spoilers if you haven't read the last one yet so consider this your fair warning.
In this one, Gamache is in retirement but decides to take on a case anyway to help out a friend. That friend just happens to be Clara and the case is searching for her husband Peter who didn't return on the one year anniversary of their separation as they agreed. Beauvoir joins them in the search through art schools, cults, and Quebec countryside.
Overall it's a good read with most of the folks in Three Pines making appearances and an interesting, well-paced plot with plenty of twists and turns. Bechdel Test: Pass
