Let me start by saying: this book is decidedly not for everyone. It’s disorienting and experimental. Look up other reviews and decide if it’s for you.
Because if it’s for you, it is FOR YOU. It’s academia, feminism, sapphism, italian & parisian aesthetics, untreated mental illness described as madness, and all-around gorgeous writing.
I want to take a class where all we do is study this book, it’s truths and untruths. Studying every author, poet, and painter it mentions.
