I am just ..how can you explain something so heartfelt? You can't, but I'll try.

Again Tillie has captured our hearts with another Italian love except this one more complex. Forbidden and unknowing is what you are met with and you hope things aren't as they seem yet just when you think nothing will change it does, beautifully.

Caresa Acardi, the Duchessa di Parma is arranged to be married to the new king but deep down she loathes the idea but knows it is her duty to do so, it has been set forth since she was a child. Destined for more but going down a path she doesn't want to travel but when a sliver of a path shows up before her will she stay on course or go down the path to find more.

Achilles Marchesi, recluse to the world and anyone outside of Bella Collina. Winemaker to one of the finest wines in the world he seeks refuge in his home, his vineyard. Little does he know that his world is about to get more brighter in days to come. Will his refuge be just his after or will someone join him?

I have so many things I could say about this book and Tillie's writing but the one that stands out is beautiful, just utterly heartfelt and amazing. She gave me my first italian love and now I may have a second that's for sure. I have anticipated this book for a long time and when I got it I ate every word, three times! Yes I read this one three times! I could go on and on over Achilles and Caresa, hell I could over Zeno too but I won't because I want to keep them in my circle for now. Go and meet them, just do it, no thinking just go and one click because this is a story of true love and split aparts that will leave you smiling.

Oh yeah and if you love philosophy you will love this one for sure!

Bravo Tillie! Bravo!
