This was painful. Seeing where the Hamish we know in the original trilogy came from is awful to watch like a trainwreck you cannot look away from. We know what happens to him. We know where he ends up. And now we watch how that happens.
The epilogue had me sobbing in my room trying to explain to my husband why it was a perfect conclusion.
