ARC Review:
O.M.G. I am living for this book, I’m hooked, line and sinker. With found family notes, morally grey brothers, powerful fmc, and more!
We start out with Ilaria Shaye living her best life in Midori, about to get married to her childhood best friend Sebastian. When she slips out of her rooms in the middle of the night can catches assassins in the hallway back to her rooms. The four assailants decide to kidnap Shaye because she saw what they looked like. Aborting their mission they take Shaye back to their country Tronovia. But to get back home Shaye sinks their ship and forces herself and her four kidnappers to trek back home instead of boating.
The trek back to Tronovia was a serious blast, from
gorgeous dresses, to heartfelt bonding moments and of course the problems on the way!
Vesper and the Soul Eaters were such a fun enemy! And of course the Harland brothers, serious Bat Boys vibes with those three! Also Eris being the sweetest the entire time, helping Shaye with everything even after Shaye being suspicious.
Absolute five star deserving.
