The Girl in Seat 2A by Diana Wilkinson, Diana Wilkinson

3.0

Despite an intriguing cover and a promising blurb, ultimately fell short of expectations. The novel follows Jade, a woman who, after a lucky scratch card win, embarks on a Spanish adventure.
However, the journey quickly descends into a series of unfortunate events, largely due to Jade's own frustratingly poor decision-making and an irritating personality. The narrative unfolds at a glacial pace, with predictable twists and turns that leave the reader yearning for Jade to learn from her mistakes and exhibit some semblance of growth.
Unfortunately, the novel fails to deliver a compelling or engaging reading experience.
