I was supposed to read this book in October/November when this book is set, but I caved in July after months of telling myself to wait. Am I sorry I caved? No. Am I sorry I waited this long? Yes. I loved this book. This was an amazing book. I cried with Yadriel and how he was treated by his family. I felt Yadriel’s pain every time. First time I cried in was literally like 20 pages in. Love how Julian fixed Yadriel’s yearbook for him. It was such a simple act of kindness on his part - and he DIDN’T take credit for it! I will recommend this book to everyone, and I will not listen to people who have negative thoughts on this book. Bye!
