Finally!!!

This book was probably my favourite of the series.

In Death at the Deep Dive, Ellery tries to solve a 59 years old disappearance. Which is probably a murder case.
As the clues get clearer and a solution is closer, a very fresh body is found, and it is very much possible that all the lines run into the same solution.

The storytelling and mystery in this one were really well built, and I really liked it. I was invested in  the story.

The Silver Sleuths were as exasperating as every, bringing the small town charm and gossip mill.

Finally, Ellery and Jack's relationship reqches the next level. I only waited seven books for that to happen. And I loved it. It's so Jack and Ellery.

Of course, my favourite character remains Watson. That dog is adorable and is really his unique character that gives so much warmth to the story.

My only complaint is that there are so many typos in the book. And not just typos, but names are messed up (Ellery ->Elliot, Jack->Jake, Tackle ->Trucker). It's so distracting. And it's clear a round of proofreading/beta reading or editing would've sold it. And it's my peeve when the author doesn't much care about quality.

All in all, I'm still determined to read anything from this series because I'm way too invested. I also want to dive into the author's other books.
