4.5!!!! I listened to this audio book ALL DAY. Every time I decided to take a break I just re-opened Libby 2 mins later.
JESUS! The ending was a little bit cheesy but DEAR GOD did I eat (hear?) this up.
Alex is the first male love interest where I was actively thinking "am I in love with a fictional character?" He is so neurotic yet rolls with the punches I simply cannot! Poppy is quirky but not in an obnoxious way. I love slow build ups with heavy back stories!! SOS! I am almost (almost) getting Normal People vibes from their friendship but less depressing and dramatic.
This is the first friends-to-lovers trope that I actually enjoyed!!
