I. Loved. This. Everything about this fit from the characters to the storyline to the setting to the circumstances. I have never read characters like Madelyn and Kyle and they were such a fun experience. Madelyn was complex and such a warrior but also was able to accept help and welcome others into her life which I loved. Kyle had the best way of demonstrating love but also had the best way of working through his own stuff to be the best version of himself and accepting Madelyn and Sebastian so effortlessly. This story felt different from the others in the series in the best way. It felt more mature and felt more whole which I loved. I also loved that it was a second chance romance but told in one timeline. I feel like I got everything I needed to know from the flashbacks and just the fill in the blanks.
there were two huge plot twists I wasn’t expecting here but they added so much to the story. The proposal I really enjoyed and it made sense for the characters. And the pregnancy was the cherry on top and proved how they changed from their past selves and showed their growth which was needed. The pregnancy moments were also so freaking cute.

I love this story and I love this couple and I love everything about this book and this world. I also don’t know if there’s another red zone rivals book or if Braden’s story is gonna be separate but either way I’m excited for that.
