This story follows Mia, a popular and famous singer who is currently on tour. One night, she meets Tyler, a clothing designer, and they have a one-night stand that changes everything forever. Mia must confront her past, navigate her controlling manager mother, and deal with her emotions before she can embrace commitment and responsibility. But can Tyler change that for her?

This was a very interesting book that I enjoyed. I’ve never read about a character quite like Mia—someone I would describe as flighty. She struggles with emotions, trust, insecurity, and jealousy. She comes across as a strong, fiery character, but beneath the surface, she bottles everything up until it finally begins to surface. This gave her depth in the story. At times, her attitude rubbed me the wrong way, but I came to understand her behavior, given the many factors with her past and present.

Tyler is a wonderful man—patient, supportive, and always giving Mia options, even when she was difficult. I loved the age gap between them and how being with Tyler gave Mia hope in the midst of her darkness.

Overall, I really enjoyed this read and went through many emotions while reading it.
