Alamo All-Stars: A Texas Tale by Nathan Hale

3.0

I feel guilty giving any book in this outstanding series a three as this book is still pretty good. Yet, I'm giving it a three because it wasn't my favorite in the series as I felt it was didn't have as strong of a narrative as others. I did appreciate the diversity represented in US history and the documentation of an important but not often emphasized aspect of American history. Again, not my favorite in the series (that one still goes to Tubman) but I will always appreciate Hale's mission to make history enjoyable and relevant.
