Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body's Most Underrated Organ
by Giulia Enders
The writing style was a little too familiar and colloquial for me-- I learned a lot, but some sections were a bit overly dumbed down. I preferred Robin Dunn's Never Home Alone better (which I read right before this), which covers a lot of the same territory. You can bet I'll be doing whatever I can to nurture the microherd of lactobacillus in my gut, though!
