Belzhar
by Meg Wolitzer
Hokey premise, but even with teen melodrama I really enjoyed it -- until the final chapters when Jam has to face the end of her journaling. Then I was really peeved at what a mockery the author made of suffering and tragedy. So annoyed. This could have been a fantasy based book with real human emotional growth - instead the real emotions I feel right now are anger, disgust, and betrayal.
