Rewind It Back

4.8/5
This five book series hit all the feels. Probably my most enjoyed sports series ever. I actually loved that we got three different sports in the span of five books (ice hockey, baseball, and basketball). I felt like it was fun and less redundant than a sport series with just one sport. This made the series stand out from all the other sports romance series out there (specifically the ice hockey ones).
This was a great ending to the series with everyone’s favorite character finally getting his book!! Rio and Hallie were great main characters and their chemistry was off the charts. There was so much angst in this book at points I wanted to rip my hair out and it was definitely a slow burn but I enjoyed every second.
The flashbacks and the past storyline did take a long time (the entire book) to come to complete fruition, but it also added to the story by keeping the reader hanging to truly understand what happened years ago. You spend the book trying to put together the pieces of the past instead of the author just readily giving it to you, and as much as that was frustrating it was also fun.
I’m very sad this series is over but truly thought each book was a fun and enjoyable read for any sports romance lovers.
