northernbookish 's review for:
Souls
by Megan Wolters
This book was a bit slow to get into, but once I grasped the storyline it was easy to work through and enjoy.
I did find that there were some errors and simplicity in the way that it was written, but despite this I found it as a gentle read when in the City of Souls. There were some moments where I couldn't understand what was happening/happened, but part of that could be because it's a part of a series and some aspects have yet to be revealed. There was a lot of evidence of well-used plot twists and some unexpected revelations.
This is a great first read for a new author and I'm excited to see what comes next for Adia and the rest of the characters.
