Loved The Ex Hex and loved this one as well. You could read this as a standalone but it complements The Ex Hex nicely. They’re such cozy reads. I just realized the author is working on a third in the series, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to being transported back into this magical world in the future.

This book focuses on Gwyn and another Penhallow, (Rhys’ older brother) Wells. I always loved Gwyn, but Wells was equally charming in his own way! The banter in this story is great. There’s the perfect amount of tension, romance, and adventure. It’s an easy, light-hearted read that is perfect for Fall. Like The Ex Hex, the ending does feel a bit rushed. That said, it didn’t really bother me. There’s a bit of spice in here and let’s just say, Wells will definitely make you swoon.

(Yes I read it in December, because my TBR is long and life is too short to only read witchy books in the Fall). Would definitely recommend this one!
