Crush
by Lacey Weatherford
I really enjoyed this book. It was recommended to me by a friend who told me I would love it. And I did. I enjoyed following Cammi as a character because she is such a strong girl. She knows what she believes in and doesn't bow down to peer pressure, which is a huge issue in every teenager's life. I loved how she did everything in her one pace. She never allowed anyone to force her into a situation she didn't want to be in, like drugs, drinking, partying. She's by no means a saint, but she has enough respect for herself and her body to know the difference between having fun and just being careless.
I also enjoyed Hunter, but I feel like Cammie was the character that hit all the important points for me in this book.
I was kinda hesitant at first because the cover. But the story is really good.
Drugs. Drinking. Sex. And Peer Pressure are all aspects of young adults' lives and I loved that this book shed some light to the dangers and how easily things go from "okay" to "totally f***ed up".

Spoiler
For example: I somehow new that there was something effy with Hunter and that he - for some reason - should not be crushing or falling for Cammie. I wasn't sure what that reason was - I'm not a psychic or anything - but his "cover" was sort of a little translucent. Don't know if that made sense...I was kinda hesitant at first because the cover.
