This story had a pretty interesting concept, but it fell flat for me. The beginning sort of rubbed me the wrong way, especially when all of chapter 3 was literally just a grocery list. Something about the author’s writing style at some points, mainly when he would go into excruciating detail, irked me, especially when the details he was getting to didn’t matter all the time. I didn’t like that the author kept talking about what would happen to everyone, but never got to the point where everything was found out.
