Audrey Hepburn by Barry Paris
4.0
Audrey Hepburn was, and is, one of my all-time favorite actresses. I went through an "Audrey" phase in middle school and read this back then. The best parts of this book, from what I can remember, are the beginning and end, which describe Audrey apart from her movie roles. Her childhood experiences in the Netherlands under the German occupation during World War II, and her relief work as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF towards the end of her life, make this biography worth reading and demonstrate the humanness behind one of America's most-loved stars.
