Kill Creek by Scott Thomas

Did not finish book.

1.0

This book was terrible. Do not recommend. I think it was this guy's first novel, and I hope he does a lot better next time. This read like some kind of fantasy within his own head, and in book form it came across about as well as it does any time someone insists on telling you the details of a dream they had. IT WAS SO BORING. I was really dismayed to get to 50% finished and find that they were already leaving the "horror house," the premise around which was the only reason I was interested in the book to begin with. Also, none of the characters were likable. Literally none of them, but especially the woman. This author clearly doesn't know enough women because he CANNOT write them. She did come across EXACTLY as any woman would if she were created by a woman-hating dude who thinks all women are angry feminists. I just couldn't stomach anymore of this dumb book. I finally gave myself permission to give up and move on. I felt a lot better after seeing several other bad reviews on Goodreads too. At least I'm not alone.
