Suicide Club by Rachel Heng

2.0

I picked this book up back in October and had to put it down due to my brother committing suicide early November, and I had a fear this this book would hit too close to home too soon in my life.
This wasn't the case. I picked this book back up and really just couldn't get into it.
I enjoyed the concept: Dystopian-esc future, society is bent on creating immortal life, wanting and trying to be immortal is the norm, anyone who wants to die is considered "antisanct" and are shunned for enjoying anything that may be "bad" for you (ie eating meat, sugar, or playing music or over exercising)

I'm unsure what I originally thought this book would contain, but what it did was really just meh. It felt like there was just too much going on in a way that wasn't very organized. By the end of the book I really didn't care what happened.
