My first grader received this for Christmas from his grandparents. He is a fantastic reader but I wasn't sure if he'd be up for this. I knew a lot of the story would go above his head but he loves Star Wars so much. I was curious to see what happened when he started! Well, he finished in less than 3 days. He loved it! I decided to read it too and enjoyed it. I read much that my son just wouldn't get, but overall it was a fun read for the both of us!! Upper elementary and middle school Star Wars fans (but also adults!) would get a kick out of this book.
