Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

5.0

I genuinely have no words for expressing how happy I am with this book. Last year I read Fangirl and I loved Rainbow Rowell's writing and that's what made me buy this book. I had a feeling this was going to be a sad book but I guess the right word is hopeful.
Yes, the book made me sad but so so so much happy as well. Eleanor and Park, are just awesome and there's no other way they can be described. Their story has the right amount of innocence, naughtiness, anxiousness, romance, the way what's going on with Eleanor of written so sensibily.
I really liked the fact that without having any gory details it was well written how hard Eleanor's life is at her stepdad's. The tension and fear of being with an abuser were very well conveyed.
On the cover of the book, there's John Green's review and similarly, this book reminded me of the beauty of starting to be in love with a person and being in love for the first time. It really, made me want to be in love...
And for the last three words I don't think it's I love you though I don't have words I have a feeling it might be a song name or a comic reference. That seems more accurate in their case.
I will have to read the other book by Rainbow Rowell. The two books I read are making me feel things.
