Honestly the unnecessary parentheticals and poorly written inner thinking should lower the score of this book. But it was a fun read and I liked seeing each room. The ending was kind of obvious from the fact that it is a prequel to the other books in the series. I knew from all the flashbacks that they were revealing the origins of the Postman. And Persey was clearly more connected to the story than she let on. It was very hard to suspend my disbelief when there was no explanation for how the cast of characters was assembled in the first place, not to mention how none of these intelligent people noticed until far too late that Wes had such obviously clear means for the first 3 murders. Overall, it could have been much better, but deserves 2.5 stars for being a quick and easy read that was fairly enjoyable.
