Having been traumatised by the animated film, as many of us were growing up, I finally decided it was time to read the book.
I start tearing up/crying every few pages because of the knowledge of what's that come. Very quickly, through some truly excellent writing, I became very attached to these rabbits. So I've decided to leave them in the field they have made it to, all alive and healthy, if a little stressed and nervous. I'm just not brave enough to read any further on.
