This book is very spicy. It is full of wonderfully written spicy suenes. All the spicy scenes are deliciously descriptive. The book moves at a quicker pace following Thea and Jelian's whirlwind romance. Julian wants to use Thea to help with a problem he is having, hoping to use a forbidden relationship to his advantage. Things wont turn out as they planned, with drastic changes to come from just being in each others lives. Thea is innocent, with a good heart. She takes her sassy demeanor, and uses it to her advantage. Julian is supposed to be a heartless old vampire who just wants to sleep his existence away until he meets Thea. She brings out parts of him he would rather not have. The book is set in contemporary times, with a secret society of vampires living along side humans. This makes getting lost in this book instant. and irresistible.
