okay SOME SPOILERS!!!
for starters don't get me wrong the book was good along with the entire romance of it BUT there are some things that REALLY bothered me. 1. Naomi's ex showed up ONCE! I get that he was threatened but I just feel like his appearance and disappearance was so out of pocket. 2. Of course i knew everything with Tina was going to come full circle, but I feel like the end where Waylay got kidnapped was weird because they didn't really need Naomi. And also throughout the whole look-for-Naomi-and-waylay situation it really just started to feel like a Wattpad mafia romance with the whole kidnapping shenanigans'.
I am NOT saying I hate this book. It was good but I just felt like there were some grey space within the book that were never filled. I know some people are into this kind of book and it was a very good grumpy sunshine small town romance but yet again, the whole crime boss charade really defeated the purpose of a lot of the book. I'm trying to be harder on my book ratings because I through five stars out in the wind, so in the end, I'm very happy with my rating, but don't let this review hold you back from ready Things We Never Got Over. Looking forward to more Lucy Score!
