Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

3.0

I really wanted to love this book. As a Christian, I really admire Lewis for the craftsmanship in which he created the world of Narnia. However, this book was lacking something for me. Perhaps it’s because I was hoping for more scripture-based appeals and fewer philosophical ramblings? I’m not sure. I think the book also lacked a strong structure and my academic brain wanted a more overarching narrative.
