Another cute story by Beverly Cleary which is saying a lot since I usually am not a big fan of animal stories. But she does such a good job of personifying the animals that I barely noticed the main character was a mouse! I think most young readers will find the adventures that Ralph takes intriguing and will hold their interest. I'd recommend this fun quick read to early readers six years and older.
