i always say i am scared of big books and this reading experience once again proved it. it helped a lot that i read it on my ereader, but it solidified the fact im more a fan of shorter stories.
however, this was an absolutely wonderful story. the story of vivian was incredible, and i completely fell in love with her time at the theatre. seeing her blossom after coming back to nyc was wonderful and the period with frank was so heartwarming, i love how their relationship developed
overall very solid story, had a few questions and i couldn’t stop imagining this 70 yo woman reading about all the escapades of a now-90 yo woman, which was quite funny but i love how it was explained at the end.
