My least favourite Christmas poem book by Carol Ann Duffy. Not one for a vegan or vegetarian, I would say! Meat, meat, meat. Though I realise this poem is telling the story of King Wenceslas, and the part, right near the end, where he sees the struggling peasant and helps him, is nice enough. Illustrations are clever and attractive.
