This was such a fun enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance, and I loved the interesting world built with Shade. It was definitely a trip through dysfunctional families, but the found families were like a warm hug. It definitely did not feel like YA, with a complex world and spicy plot. I’m looking forward to #2!
