A Book of Noises: Notes on the Auraculous
by Caspar Henderson
informative
fast-paced
For a non-fiction book, this is a fast read. Lots of little thought bubbles of lots of different noises, with a good sprinkle of of humour. The sounds of the cosmos was fascinating, but i was zoning out during the music theory sections. A frustrating bibliography though. Henderson structures the book around a scholar's categorisation, and then doesn't cite them in the reference list.
