I really enjoyed this book. I feel like its very realistic and as someone who is not a teenage boy, it gave me an insight into the life of a teenage boy and what it's like to be one. The pace is fast as the book is in a diary format with some entries being just sentences long and some being a few pages long. I enjoyed the cast of characters. The sad scenes were gut-wrenching and made me really sympathise with Charlie. I highly recommend this book, it's a quick, emotional coming-of-age read that can be enjoyed by many.
