I chose this as my May BOTM. I loved the mountaineering storyline and honestly couldn’t put it down because I love books about outdoor adventures and travel. I know next to nothing about mountain climbing but felt like the techniques were explained well and weren’t too detailed to where I was bored. Unfortunately I thought the ending was a bit underwhelming and I never felt “scared” reading it, but I still enjoyed it. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars so I decided to bump up to 4.
